セレブなイメージのある駒沢公園。東急田園都市線の駒沢大学駅から歩いて10分くらい。平日の昼間だというのに、犬を連れたマダム(コマザワンヌ？)や学校帰りの子供達などで賑わっていました。公園内にはジョギングコースやドッグランの他に、競技場や体育館など面白いデザインの建物がありました！上の写真は芦原義信さん設計のオリンピック記念塔。コンクリートを重ねていった感が素敵でした。
■■■Komazawa Park is 10mins walk from Komazawa Daigaku station. It was pretty busy for Wednesday afternoon, packed with house wives with thier little dogs and students playing after school. I saw some skateboarders practicing their tricks.
In the park, there are some interesting looking stadiums, as well as jogging course and playground for dogs. Olympic memorial tower (pictured above) desgined by Yoshinobu Ashihara really stands out in the middle of the park.
